Less Than Truckload (LTL) Shipping Services

If you are shipping cargo that is under 5,000 pounds, then eFreightLine's Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight services may be perfectly suited for you cargo shipping needs. Due to the combined LTL shipping volume of all our clients, we are able to leverage that combined volume into substantial discounts for all our customers. We offer this service to and from most points in the United States and Canada. LTL also offers Lift Gate services for those that do not have access to loading docks. We can also arange for residential deliveries as well as inside deliveries if you need assistance getting the cargo into storage.

LTL service is best suited for palletized goods, but loose items can also be shipped using this service type. LTL pricing is based on the freight density as described by the freight class. All types of commodities have a class and an NMFC Number associated with the commodity. If you need assistance finding the class for your freight, please contact one of our logistics specialists today.

The density guidelines are used in the assignment of classes where average density is representative or reflective of the range of densities exhibited. Furthermore, the density/class relationships set forth in the guidelines presume that there are no unusual or significant stowability, handling or liability characteristics, which would call for giving those characteristics additional or different "weight" in determining the appropriate class.
